How to Install k3d software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

k3d software package provides 3D modeling and animation system, binary files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install k3d

k3d is installed in your system.

Make ensure the k3d package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep k3d *

You will get with k3d package name, version, architecture and description in a table
